Bring your kids and join us for our Nature Play Space Planning Session! We'll explore, play, and create a vision for our Nature Play Space. Park District staff will provide a mini Nature Play Space kit, which includes different hand-sized pieces that simulate what all can go into a Nature Play Space - like logs, tree cookies, balance stumps and more! Kids, parents, and community members are invited to imagine how natural materials can create a Nature Play Space full of creativity and fun!
In the spring, we'll have a pop-up play event that will include some actual logs and tree cookies to get an even better idea of what we can create together. Watch for that event, too!Â
