For the second straight year, The Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church on Logan Square (50 steps from the Blue Line Station) will be giving out free school backpacks packed with supplies!

This year we have 300 backpacks to distribute! It is first come first serve. Children MUST be present and each child must also be accompanied by an adult. Our doors will not open until 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 18th. The distribution will be concluded at 5:00 pm.
Volunteers and contributions are happily received. We are blessed to be able to do this, but would appreciate support to make this an annual event!
