Community Meeting Regarding Proposed Cannabis Dispensary at 2551 N Milwaukee

This is a reminder that 32nd Ward Alderman Scott Waguespack invites you to attend a meeting to discuss a proposed cannabis dispensary. The applicant, Pharmacan Inc., will describe the proposed dispensary and be available to answer questions. Representatives from Alderman Waguespack’s office will facilitate the meeting. The proposed site’s existing zoning would need to be changed from B3-3 to C2-3. A public meeting is required for all proposed dispensaries. Alderman Waguespack will gather input from residents and determine appropriate next steps. If the zoning change is approved the applicant would then proceed to a hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals, which would vote on the required Special Use Permit.
