 During this time of social distancing, it is still possible to support your local economy and small business community. Below are some ways to support your favorite businesses and examples how of some businesses are still open for you. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a complete list. Essential Businesses Open During the Shelter In Place Order:

  • Auto Repair

    • Logan Square Auto Repair, 2442 N Milwaukee, is open. They are offering door to door drop off and pick up service. Staff is taking all steps to stay safe and continue to keep customers safe according to CDC guidelines. Call 773.825.5677

  • Bike Shops

    • Earth Rider Cycling has regular hours to help with any bike related issues. They are following all CDC guidelines.

    • Boulevard Bikes is open regular hours. If you prefer not to have face to face contact, call them to schedule a service 773.235.9109

  • Veterinary Services- Boulevard Veterinary is open and doing curbside service during this time. Call ahead!

  • Real Estate Services- Niche Realty is still open for business, visit their website for more information

  • Mortgage Services- The Kambs Jennings Group of Compass Mortgage is ready to help you with your mortgage needs

  • Restaurants for Delivery and Take Out (see item 5)


1) Buy Your Groceries Locally (and please no hoarding, there is no danger to our food supply and our stores will remain open)

  • You can still buy your favorite Logan Square Farmers Market items, visit our virtual market.

  • Dill Pickle, 2746 N Milwaukee, has reduced hours but remains open and well stocked. Find Logan Square Farmers Market Vendors here, too! Including:

  • Foodsmart has two convenient locations- 2901 W Armitage and 3415 W Diversey. The Armitage location even has the only 24 hour US Post Office in Chicago. You can also shop online and have your groceries delivered by Mercato

  • Center for Changing Lives is providing financial coaching and emergency aid to those who are out of work due to COVID-19. Donate now.
