Color Your Way Through the Neighborhood While Supporting LoganSquarist
As winter and the holidays come knocking, what better way to cozy up inside and color your way through neighborhood staples drawn by local artists? LoganSquarist’s first community coloring book lets you do just that while supporting our volunteer-run hyperlocal news organization and celebrating our tenth birthday.
This 25-page downloadable coloring book shows off the beauty of the Logan Square neighborhood. Carefully drawn by seven local artists, this book gives you the opportunity to bring to life many community favorites. Color in The 606 (or the Bloomingdale Trail), Unity Park, the Dill Pickle and much more. You can even color in Mayor Lightfoot’s house. The book is a great gift for yourself, your neighbors and friends, especially as the holiday season approaches.
Thank you to the artists who donated their time and talent to our coloring book: Alli Eck, Sam Dahbah, Erik Island, Tai Kojro-Badziak Christine LaGrassa, Marci Mundo and Jill Snyder. And a special shoutout to longtime staff writer and photographer Erik is in order, who came up with this project and organized it from start to finish. People like Erik make LoganSquarist what it is and we are incredibly grateful!
