This 1-hour seminar will benefit those just about to retire and those 10 or 20 years away from retirement.
It will teach participants what they need to know about saving for retirement through employer-sponsored plans such as 401(k)s and 403(b)s, or Traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs or SEP IRA for those self-employed. Determining how much to save, the cost of delaying a saving program and the tax benefits of the plans will be discussed. Additionally, this seminar will cover:
Planning for Retirement - will your pension be there for you? will Social Security be there for you?
Roth conversion - is it right for you?
Saving for retirement while saving for children's college
Rolling over old 401(k)s into an IRA
About the presenter:
Khloe Karova is a financial advisor with Edward Jones and a member of the Financial Planning Association. Ms. Karova has over 12 years financial services experience, most recently at Lehman Brothers where she served as a trusted advisor to executives. She has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Northwestern University. Ms. Karova lives in Logan Square with her husband and 16 month old daughter.
